9/11/17 — National Iron & Steel Museum Celebrating “Coatesville Remembers: September 11th Commemoration” and WTCConnect will be There

We at WTCConnect are thrilled to be lending items to the Coatesville Iron and Steel Museum for its 9/11 Commemoration this year, and it won’t be the same without you there!

Coatesville Remembers: September 11th Commemoration

Date/Time :    9/11/17 all day, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Location:   National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum, 50 S. 1st Avenue, Coatesville, PA 19320
The service will take place at the site of the Steelworkers’ Memorial, which is marked by one of the ten 50-ton World Trade Center steel tridents recovered by the museum in 2010.   A bell will be rung six times during the morning service followed each time by a moment of silence to mark times of historic significance involving the attacks on the Twin Towers  and the Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93.
There will be music by members of Lukens Band and comments between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. by clergy as well area representatives.  New this year is an open-air Remembrance Concert at the Memorial site at 7 p.m. featuring the Lukens Concert Band and the 49ers Chorus.
