9/11 Commemoration at the National Iron & Steel Museum

Like the weather sixteen years ago, this Patriot’s Day was a beautiful, slightly cool September morning.  After the ringing of the bells, reading of the names, and moving speeches by political representatives and first responders, we moved indoors to view the items on display from various collections, including World Trade Center Connect.  We also viewed the creation of the World Trade Center through Pennsylvania steelmaking, including Lukens, Bethlehem Steel, and others.
A special thank you to Frayda, Lisa and Marilyn for making the trek to join us today!  With love in our hearts on this 16th Patriot’s Day to you and yours…. #PatriotsDay #911 #911remembers #WTCConnect #neverforget #worldtradecenter @WTCConnect_1
